Top 5 Worst Performing Renault F1 Team Drivers An Article by Brian Cotnoir I had never heard of a Renault vehicle until I started watching Formula 1, and still to this date I’ve never seen an actual Renault vehicle in person, but from what I’ve gathered, the Renault F1 team is the only presently operating French based team on the Formula 1 grid.   They’ve had periods of great success, and they’ve had periods where they struggle to finish races.   As of the typing of this article (they’re presently) ranked in the “Best of the Rest Category”; behind the big three teams of Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull.   They may have helped launch the careers of two of the most successful drivers—Alain Prost and Fernando Alonso—into super stardom, but they’ve also had their fair share of duds, and it is those duds we’ve come to talk about, so without further ado, here are the 5 worst performing Renault F1 Team drivers. 5.)   Derek Warwick, 2 Seasons, 28 Total Points Scored, Average Points

Top 5 Worst Performing Sauber F1 Drivers By: Brian Cotnoir Sauber F1 was one the most successful Swiss based Formula 1 team, and in 2019 they changed their name to Alfa Romeo Racing.   Sauber was a team known for having talented drivers who would go on to have successful careers with other teams.    Sauber F1 was when of the endearing midfield teams of for almost 30 years, but today we’re here to talk about the 5 Worst Performing Drivers they hired 5.)   Mika Salo, 1 Season, 6 Total Points Scored, Best Finish 5 th (2X) Finnish driver Mika Salo spent one season driving for Sauber in 2000, and had some lackluster results.    A disqualification at the opening round in Australia, and a DNS the following weekend in Brazil gave him a monumental challenge to overcome.    Salo did manage a couple points finishes though, but failed to finish one race on a the podium Back when Red Bull was only a sponsor in F1 4.)   Esteban Gutierrez,   2 Seasons, 6 Total Points Scored,

Top 5 Worst Performing Jordan Grand Prix drivers

Top 5 Worst Performing Jordan Grand Prix drivers By: Brian Cotnoir To date, Jordan Grand Prix is the only Irish constructor that has ever entered in Formula 1.   Other than that this team is known for it’s creative, animal inspired paint schemes, being one of the Best Independent team entries of the 1990’s and early 2000’s, and for being the team that gave Michael Schumacher his first start in Formula 1.    Eddie Jordan’s team had many highs and lows before they sold off in 2005, but they were still a decent mid-level Formula 1 team.   However, they did have their fair share of bad drivers, and every driver on this list here only lasted 1 season with team, so it really wasn’t meant to be for them at Jordan Grand Prix 5.)   Nahrain Karthikeyan, 5 Total Points Scored, Finished 18 th in the Final Championship Standings in 2005 Nahrain Karthikeyan made history in 2005 when he became the first Formula 1 driver from India.   In his only season with the team he scored only 5

Top 5 Worst Performing Minardi F1 Drivers

Top 5 Worst Performing Minardi F1 Drivers By Brian Cotnoir In My last article I talked about Scuderia Toro Rosso, but before they became the second Formula 1 Team bought by the Red Bull Corporation, they had a humble beginning as Minardi F1.   Minardi was based in Faenza, Italy and struggled for strong results.    The Minardi team gave shots in F1 to many (mostly) Italian drivers, and rarely finished in the points, and never finished on the podium; yet this little Italian team helped launched the career of F1 legend Fernando Alonso.   This was a hard list to compile because they had a number of poor performing drivers, but I feel these were the worst of the worst. 5.)    Esteban Tuero, 1 Season, 0 Points Scored Esteban Tuero was an Argentine driver who ran just one season ever in Formula 1.     In his only season in Formula 1, Tuero failed to finish in all, but four Grand Prix’s.   His best finish was an 8 th place at the 1998 San Marino Grand Prix. 4.)    Lu

-The Top 5 Worst Performing Scuderia Toro Rosso Drivers By Brian Cotnoir The Red Bull Corporation is so rich they bought not one, but TWO Formula 1 teams.   There’s the Red Bull F1 team based in UK and a Red Bull Junior team based in Faenza, Italy called Scuderia Toro Rosso.    STR started its life as Minardi F1 in the 1980’s, but since joining the Red Bull program it has gone on to develop talent for some of the greatest drivers including Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, and Max Verstappen, however they have also had a number of drivers who just weren’t cut out for Formula 1. 5.) Sebastien Buemi, 3 Seasons,   29 Total Points, Average Point Finish of  16 th . Sebastien Buemi had some pretty lackluster results in 3 Seasons at STR.   His most memorable moment was having his front tires break off his car at the 2010 Chinese Grand Prix At least things for Buemi worked out in Formula E 4.)   Brendon Hartley 1 Season, 4 Total Points, Career best finish of
